Interest on your account is calculated daily and paid either monthly or annually, into an account of your choice, without charge*.

When you make a withdrawal, we will send your money to any UK account free of charge*. You need to give 3 months' notice to make a withdrawal.

New research from Investec Private Bank reveals that UK adults plan to spend £4.29 billion on membership subscriptions to clubs and societies during 2010, down £362 million on 2009.

New research from Investec Private Bank reveals that UK adults donated £5.32 billion to charities during 2009, which was £574 million (or 9.7%) less than in 2008. The average amount people donated to charities last year was £110.20 per person. In total, 71% of the adult population – some 34.1 million people – gave money to charities.

Investec Private Bank’s Business High 5 Account has paid a consistently high rate since its launch in July 2009. Indeed, the rate has never fallen below 2.31% gross AER and is currently 2.50% gross AER, 2% above the Bank of England base rate.
